About Me
I’m Rasa – a Danish-educated and accredited architect (Cand. Arch.), originally from Lithuania. My journey has taken me around the world, where I’ve studied and worked as an architect in various countries. Today, I’m based in a small town in the north, where I’m growing my business and serving my clients while sharing the joy of creativity, beauty, and inspiration.
My mission is simple: to design immersive experiences—whether it's your home, garden, or a better city. Growth is a core value in my work. My vision for Grene Design is rooted in transformation, improvement, and organic development—just like a tree growing from the ground up, bringing life to everything around it.
Grene Design is a heartfelt studio that dares to be different and true to itself. You can expect bold, context-driven concepts and timeless solutions with a strong identity—always shaped by your vision, so the result feels both authentic and enduring.
Work experience
With over a decade of professional experience across Scandinavia and the Baltics, I bring a rich blend of architectural, interior, landscape, and urban design expertise to every project.
Before founding Grene Design in 2025, I contributed to renowned studios including AK83 Arkitekter, Johannes Torpe Studio, and Arrow Architects—designing everything from landscapes and hotel renovations to interiors, public spaces, and masterplans. My hands-on experience spans exclusive office environments, urban planning, and residential projects, always rooted in human-centered design.
Having worked across Denmark, Lithuania, and beyond, I’ve developed a keen eye for context, detail, and storytelling through space—now channeled into creating living environments that connect people with nature.
Education
My foundation as a designer is rooted in a deep and diverse education that blends architecture, landscape, and fine arts across Northern Europe.
From early studies in fine arts and interior architecture to a master’s degree in architecture from the Aarhus School of Architecture, I’ve shaped my skills across cultures and disciplines—with international experience in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and Lithuania. Most recently, I’ve expanded my perspective through continuing education in urban planning, focusing on how design shapes life at every scale.
This wide-ranging background gives me the tools to create spaces that are both visionary and deeply human.
